Vanderpump Rules stars allegedly spend $1 million on sandwich shop as opening is delayed
TikTok: somethingaboutherwehoVanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have allegedly spent $1 million on their sandwich shop as “obstacles” continue to delay its launch.
Fan-favorites of Bravo’s hit reality TV series Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are looking to switch things up with their upcoming sandwich shop, Something About Her.
However, Something About Her has faced numerous delays preventing the women from achieving their dream sandwich empire and opening shop.
Now an inside source has told The U.S. Sun that nearly $1 million has gone into bringing the sandwich shop to life, though its official launch is still nowhere in sight.
The source claimed the former restaurant-turned-sandwich shop was a “dump” when the reality TV star signed the lease, despite rent being “almost $8,000 a month.”
Getting to work, Ariana and Katie hired interior designer and Emmy-winner Jon Hutman to help bring to life their Parisian-inspired sandwich shop. However, after spending $300,000 on the interior, the girls learnt they would have to start from scratch as the flooring was “not for open food use.”
And this was just the first of many issues to arise, the source telling The U.S. Sun that fans can expect to see the drama unfold on the next season of Vanderpump rules.
“The drama for next season is wild, but what’s even more shocking are all the issues Something About Her has been dealing with,” the source said. “Everything about what’s going on with the store is going to unfold this season and give fans the answers they’ve been seeking.”
As of now, it appears Ariana and Katie are working on a storefront makeover after learning “permit laws had changed,” forcing the pair to “take down their sign and break down the entire front patio.”
It seems fans will have to wait a little longer before getting their hands (and mouths) on some celebrity sandwiches.
