Rather than being content with recycling the same old designs for popular Disney characters again and again, this set has gotten creative with its ‘Dreamborn’ and ‘Floodborn’ concepts.

Through Dreamborn and Floodborn cards, Rise of the Floodborn reimagines classic Disney characters in brand-new archetypes and scenarios. While Dreamborn cards are twists on their established canon roles, Floodborn allows Lorcana to get really wild. Take Gaston as a genius engineer, Cinderella as an armored knight, and Belle as a daring archer as examples.

That’s not to say that Dreamborn cards are dull by comparison however, players have fallen in love with a Dreamborn Pooh cast as a mighty honey wizard.
