Star Wars Squadrons is 95% off at Amazon

The often overlooked Star Wars Squadrons is down to just a couple of bucks at Amazon, with an incredible 95% off.

Star Wars space shooters used to be the best the series had to offer in video games. TIE Fighter, X-Wing, and Rogue Squadron. They’d all give you a semblance of flying in the outer reaches of space in your favorite ships.

Star Wars Squadrons tried to bring this back, with a streamlined, modern approach to the space shooters. It didn’t quite take off as intended and has been often overlooked. While not the finest space-faring game you can play today, it certainly brings the pizazz with the Star Wars name.

It’s now 95% off at Amazon, bringing it down to the lowest price you can grab it for. The only other place it’s cheaper is if you subscribe to EA Play or Game Pass Ultimate, where it’ll be included with your subscription.

The game’s super low price definitely stems from the fact it’s actively available on subscription services. Game Pass is also currently running its $1 for the first month to Game Pass Ultimate, so you could technically save just one more dollar on the game if you intend to blast through the short campaign.

However, if you’re not in the subscription life, the less than a cup of coffee price is tantalizing. Especially as the game works fairly well on the Steam Deck, combined with some custom-mapped gyro controls. It’s recommended you switch to Proton Experimental.
