Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 fans have been vocal about a new Miles Morales suit introduced in the sequel, with many hating the look of the Insomniac original suit.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is out there in the world, and it’s proving to be very popular. The Insomniac game has had praise heaped upon it by fans and critics alike. In a year full of excellent games, this has had one of the best receptions.

One of the great things about it is the numerous suits you can unlock for both Miles and Peter. There is an excellent selection of suits from Spider-Man’s history, be that from the comics, the movies, or new Insomniac creations.

However, not every suit is made equal. Players are voicing their opinions on a controversial new look for Miles Morales, which is meant to be a key story suit in the game.

Miles Morales’ Evolved Suit has been heavily criticized online

The Evolved Suit takes some bold swings, but some players think it misses.

In a Reddit thread criticizing the suit, which received over 3.0k upvotes at the time of writing, players have panned the Insomniac original suit.

One user said: “The hair sticking out the top makes the suit look unfinished.” Another added: “I hope Insomniac just sticks to official suits for the next one.”

A Redditor even suggested that Miles should abandon the suit in the future. “No way they keep that suit around after all the backlash it’s getting.”

This debate has even spilled onto Twitter/X, with many heavily RT’d Tweets talking about the suit.

Unfortunately, this suit has fallen flat for a lot of players. It’s a shame because it comes at a defining moment for Miles in the story of him establishing his own identity. However, as with many things with iconic characters, it can take some time for new things to grow on fans. Here’s hoping in time, this suit can be accepted more widely.
