Jake Paul promoter confirms £15m offer to Tommy Fury with a twist

Fury and Paul could face off again

Tommy Fury has been offered a two-fight deal to complete a trilogy with Jake Paul.

Fury was awarded a split decision victory over Paul after an eagerly anticipated but ultimately disappointing boxing bout in Saudi Arabia last February.

Both men made millions from the encounter and Fury has been propositioned once again. The new offer is for Fury to face Paul again in the boxing ring, before a further third and final fight in MMA.

Professional Fighters League founder Donn Davis, who signed Paul to a deal to debut in MMA last year, said: “Tommy doing a back-to-back boxing and MMA – hardwired together where Tommy couldn’t back out of one or the other – is on the table.

“The rumoured offers of $15-20m to Tommy – which is three times what he could earn for many other of his options – is accurate.

“Is that the best option for Jake? I’ll leave that to Jake and [his business partner] Nakisa [Bidarian]. They’re the best at picking opponents and managing that. But that is accurate and that is a possibility.”

Nate Diaz fight is also on the cards

Fury has not fought since defeating KSI in October, while Paul has returned to the ring twice since losing to Fury, defeating Nate Diaz and Andre August. Davis added that a rematch between Paul and Diaz in the Octagon is also on the cards.

Davis said: “If Nate and Jake want to get together in MMA, that remains on the table. Jake is training now down in the Dominican, he’s four months into it.

“What’s the right fight for him? What’s the right timing? We’ll respect that. But either one of those are great options.”
