Apple M1 MacBook Air

Apple’s M1 MacBook Air is thin, light, and powerful. And now it’s also $250 off thanks to a killer deal on Amazon.

M1 MacBook Air is not the latest laptop from Apple nor does it feature the most powerful chipset out there. But it is still good enough for most users. The laptop can tackle demanding tasks and is now a lot cheaper. Amazon has slashed the M1 MacBook’s price by $250, its historical lowest-price, outside of errant drops from third-party sellers.

M1 MacBook Air was announced back in 2020 and it packs the first generation of Apple’s desktop silicon. The Amazon deal gets you 256GB of the laptop with 13-inch bright Liquid Retina display and 8GB RAM. This killer deal might not last forever so you may hurry up.

M1 MacBook Air is reliable and powerful

The M1 MacBook Air remains a reliable laptop that won’t let you down, even in 2024. I used it for work for a good two years before making the switch to a Windows laptop in January of this year.

I hardly ever ran into performance issues while working. I’m constantly switching between loads of tabs, crunching through bulk data, and throwing in some photo and video editing from time to time. The M1 MacBook Air handles it all very smoothly.

You may want to get a laptop with 16GB of RAM if you want longevity. However, 8GB RAM should also be enough for most users.

M1 MacBook Air’s lightweight and thin build makes it easy to carry, whether you like to work while traveling or while sipping coffee in a cafe near you. The battery life on the laptop is pretty decent but you’d still want to keep the charger close.
