Warhammer 40K AMD GPU revealed by Asus
While a fun tease, the Warhammer 40K GPU from Asus and AMD will only be receiving 20 units. This makes it one of the rarest GPUs on the market and has been spotted at Gamescom.
Asus has released a new video teasing the AMD GPU. The deal page also still has the tease. It’s predicted to be a 7900XTX, similar to Asus’ other branded graphics cards. Previously, it launched Avatar and Starfield-themed cards.
Despite the upcoming launch of the 9000 series CPUs, AMD’s Ryzen 7000 line is the only one getting the deal. The same goes for GPUs, as the Radeon 7000 cards are also included.
Slightly different from some of Intel’s offerings, AMD also includes laptops that contain both Ryzen and Radeon chips inside.
Over a decade later, Space Marine gets a sequel
Space Marine 2 has had a rough time recently. A full build of the game dated to last year leaked online. In November 2023, the game was pushed back to its September 2024 release date.
The game is the follow-up to the 2011 third-person shooter. At the time it tried something different for the genre, with an insistence on consistently pushing forward.
While Gears of War and others were reliant on cover systems, Space Marine 1 tried to replicate the “feeling” of being a Space Marine. Its 2024 sequel appears to be also pushing in that direction, just with even more stuff on screen.
The other game in the mix is Unknown 9: Awakening. Published by Bandai Namco, the action game focuses on altering the outcome of fights with various powers. The trailer shows off “The Fold”, an in-between space where the characters can slip into to fight off foes or solve puzzles.
Space Marine 2 is set for a September 9 release date, while Unknown 9 is still due in 2024.
