Can you play Last Epoch on Steam Deck?

Last Epoch is playable on the Steam Deck and has been officially verified by Valve.

Last Epoch has been given a playable commendation, however, it misses out on being fully verified due to some minor issues. On the game’s Steam page, Valve states that it may “require extra effort to interact with” the Last Epoch due to some in-game text being difficult to read, and some functionality not being accessible with the default controller configuration.

Since the Last Epoch 1.0 patch, the RPG can run on the Steam Deck, now with controller support included, although not without some caveats. YouTube Channel Steam Deck Gaming reported the game plays great on the Deck, although there are some instances of micro-stuttering.

Throughout testing, Steam Deck Gaming noted that the game sat at approximately around 60 FPS. However, with Last Epoch being heavy in NPCs there can occasionally be drops to both 50 and 40 FPS respectively.

The Last Epoch system requirements only call for 22GB of install space, which isn’t a lot by today’s standards. Yet if you’re planning on playing you may want to ensure you have enough storage on your Deck so you don’t have to delete any other games.
