RTX 4070 Super gets cute anime makeover but there’s a catch

The RTX 4070 and other Super series graphics cards are set to receive an anime coat of paint, thanks to custom graphics card manufacturer, Yeston.

The highly-anticipated Super refresh of the Nvidia RTX 40 series of graphics cards has finally come upon us, starting with the launch of the RTX 4070 Super. The high-powered GPU is the first to be available, with the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 planning to be released by Nvidia by the end of January.

While some may be eagerly awaiting to incorporate the new GPUs into their PC gaming setup, anyone looking to put together an anime-inspired build may want to hold out.

Yeston, a brand known for its unquietly designed custom cards, is planning on releasing its own ‘Sakura’ lineup of souped-up graphics cards, and they’re adorable.

This Super refresh is super adorable

Yeston has swapped out the black and gray look of the RTX 4070 Super, and the upcoming RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super, and brightened things up with a design that any anime fan would be ecstatic to have part of their rig. The colorful line-up of custom graphics cards is “coming soon” according to the official Yeston X account, and are the latest additions to its iconic Sakura Deluxe and Sakura Sugar series.

Both the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti Super Sakura Deluxe Edition feature white, blue, and purple colorways, with delicate sakura flower motifs throughout.

Even the three fans have small sakura designs present, and although Yeston hasn’t revealed further images of the graphic cards, it’s likely both will feature the gorgeous anime artwork on its backplate that the Sakura series is known for.

The RTX 4080 Super Sakura Deluxe opts for something different, with purple, blue, and pink RGB fans, and a semi-transparent chassis. The sakura flower motifs make a comeback, this time returning as holographic decals in the center of each fan, with ‘sakura’ logo decals encompassing the entire graphics card.

We don’t know when they’re releasing

Yeston has yet to reveal the price of these gorgeous custom graphics cards, or when they’re likely to be available for purchase. However, with the launch of the RTX 4070 Super imminent, and the RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super soon to follow, it likely won’t be long until you can have one of these adorable custom anime graphics cards to call your own. While many retailers might struggle to stock it, it’s worth keeping your eyes on Newegg, in case you want to pick one up for yourself.
