A clip showing a camel stomping around the Cedar Point amusement park has gone viral across TikTok, leaving viewers shocked.

As a part of one of the world’s largest amusement park companies, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio brings in millions of visitors each year to check out their wide variety of rides and attractions.

One of those attractions is a rather large petting zoo, but on June 12, 2024, two of the park’s camels escaped and found themselves prancing around the place.

A clip of the rogue camels went viral on TikTok, leaving viewers stunned. It’s amassed nearly 7M views in just a day, with over 8,000 people leaving comments about the animals on the run.

The video shows one camel jumping around and chasing people around the area. “This is not good, oh no, this is not good,” said the person behind the camera.

“He’s got the zoomies, awwww,” one user replied.

Another joked: “Can’t tell if we wants to play or wants to bite. I’ll take my chances.”

Park attendee Justin Garcia told Storyful that he and his family were “almost trampled” by the rogue animals.

“We put some space in between us and watched the aftermath of what could have been a very dangerous situation,” he added.

Cedar Point haven’t made a public statement as of writing, but a spokesperson assured 3News that nobody was harmed during the incident.

“The camels decided to take an unplanned stroll just outside their home at The Barnyard (our ‘petting zoo’ area on the Frontier Trail) but were quickly returned,” they said. “We’re looking into how they made it to the midway.”

The incident at Cedar Point is just the latest video to go viral on TikTok. Clips of the first ever “bring your own banana” event in NYC took over on June 12, 2024, and Carter Vail’s ‘Dirt Man’ song has been stuck in users heads for weeks.
