Plane full of Swifties divides the internet with mass Taylor Swift sing-along
TikTok: maddisonolsen111A viral TikTok has shown how one plane full of Taylor Swift fans banded together for an in-flight sing-along… but viewers weren’t all impressed.
Running from March 2023 until December 8, 2024, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has seen fans flock together from far and wide to journey through the American singer-songwriter’s “musical eras.”
As thousands upon thousands of fans rally together to celebrate, it’s no surprise that many self-proclaimed “Swifties” have found themselves sharing flights on their way to the pop star’s sixth concert tour.
One plane full of fans even banded together for an in-flight sing-along, with a viral clip posted to TikTok. However, many viewers claim the situation would be their “personal hell.”
Swiftie Maddison Olsen, who goes by ‘maddisonolsen111‘ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to show a plane full of fans celebrating the “Queen of pop.”
“If this isn’t how you commute to the Era’s tour, then I don’t want it,” Olsen wrote, but many did not share her opinion.
With almost all flyers participating in the sing-along — and even the flight attendants joining in over the speakers — viewers were left wondering whether all on board were okay with the unexpected turn of events.
“I feel bad for other passengers, especially those with sensory issues, claustrophobia, or anxiety disorders,” one person wrote. Another said, “I’d sit in the bathroom the entire time, imagine someone with sensory issues was [on] that plane???”
“I would seriously cry if I was on that plane this is my worst fear,” a third viewer admitted. Some even referred to the flight as “torture,” joking that they would escape through the emergency exit if the sing-along happened to them.
Some viewers spotted certain flyers looking less than enthused during the mass sing-along, but while the Swiftie flight may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it seems to have brought much joy to those attending the concert.
