Woman gets caught in store shutters in hilariously unfortunate video

A woman was walking down the street when the shutters of a store lifted her in the air, posing an immediate threat to her well-being.

In a now-viral TikTok video, an older woman was walking with a bag on wheels when she was caught in the shutters of a storefront.

Lifting her in the air, the woman was helpless and had to depend on someone nearby to save her.

Viewers of the video have since reacted by expressing their laughter at her unfortunate circumstance.

Woman saved from 10-foot fall 

The incident happened in what appeared to be slow motion, as the store’s shutters slowly lifted the woman about ten feet in the air.

As she was lifted upwards, the woman was upside down — posing an immediate issue had she fallen head first.

Fortunately, after a few seconds, someone from inside the store noticed what was happening and raced to her rescue.

As the shutters began to collapse downward, the man unhinged the woman from where she was hooked. She was luckily safe and unharmed.

Viewers of the viral story, though, thought the incident was “hilarious.” One added that they couldn’t stop laughing. While another said they were laughing so hard that it sounded like they were “howling” 

Some viewers even compared the video to movies like Mission Impossible and Spider-Man, as the way she flipped in the air was something out of an action film.

There were also multiple viewers who mocked the woman’s misfortune by saying the video would be what they would show someone who asked them how their day was going.
