A woman is going viral after uploading footage of her terrifying encounter with a man she’d met on Hinge, who followed her home after their date turned sour.

There’s no shortage of terrible first date stories on social media — but one woman’s experience with a guy she met on Hinge takes the cake of awful romantic encounters.

TikTok user Alissa met a man on Hinge, who she claims used a racial slur during their first date. This appeared to put her off from continuing the date, so she left.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of their interactions. According to Alissa, the man followed her home and confronted her as she sat inside her car, clearly unsettled by his behavior.

Alissa recorded the incident and posted the footage on TikTok, where it’s racked up over nine million views as shocked comments pour in.

In the clip, the man pleaded with Alissa to explain why she left their date, leading to a tense confrontation between the two singles.

“I’m not getting aggressive, I’m asking you to be honest with me,” he says. “Alissa, what was my option? Never hear from you again? I would have never heard from you. I’ve been down this road.”

“Okay, but you don’t know me,” Alissa replied. “Why would you follow me home? I feel so unsafe right now.”

“Oh f*ck this,” the man retorts. “Call the cops. I don’t care.”

The man then argued that he was the “furthest from a racist person,” prompting Alissa to explain to him that using “that word” during their date wasn’t acceptable for her.

“Oh my god,” he replied. “I’m calling my Black friends right now.”

Things escalated after this, with the man starting to yell and even calling Alissa a few choice names as she rolled up her car window, clearly done with the interaction.

“What kind of respect did I get when you left me at the f*cking bar, you b*tch!” he shouted. “Huh? What kind of f*cking respect did I get when I spent $300 on you? You f*cking c***!”

Alissa posted an update video a day later, saying that she’s giving herself “grace and time to process what’s happened.”

For now, she’s choosing to collect her thoughts, saying she will explain the evening in detail when she feels ready.

In DMs to the Daily Dot, Alissa claimed that the man reached out to her the very next day via SnapChat “as though the event never occurred.” However, when she attempted to report him on Hinge, he had already unmatched her.

This is far from the first terrifying first date to go viral on TikTok after a woman was stalked by her Tinder date, who sent her threatening messages after she canceled their date due to not feeling well.
