Yip yip! Netflix’s live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender is almost here – but when does it land on the streaming platform? Here’s what you need to know.

It’s almost been 20 years since Aang, Katara, and Sokka’s adventures were broadcast on screens, with Netflix intending to bring the original Avatar: The Last Airbender action back in the form of a live-action adaptation.

Though some of the original features have – fairly controversially – been taken out, fans are still hyped for the brand-new episodes, with the official synopsis reading: “A young boy known as the Avatar must master the four elemental powers to save a world at war and fight a ruthless enemy bent on stopping him.”

With the countdown to release day on, when is Avatar: The Last Airbender available on Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know.

Avatar: The Last Airbender arrives on Netflix at 12am PT / 3am ET on February 22, 2024.

Depending on where you are in the world, the live-action series will be available at different times. Here’s a full rundown of exactly when the Aang gang will be reaching you:

Much like other hit Netflix shows, all eight episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender will be available at once, meaning no weekly delays waiting to catch up with the next installment.

If you can’t wait that long, all three seasons of the original 2005 cartoon series are already available on Netflix – but don’t panic if you aren’t a user. You can also find the animation on various other streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Paramount Plus.

Though reviews for the Netflix adaptation aren’t out yet, the original cartoon has maintained an impressive 100% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an additional audience score of 98%.

The streaming platform has also now released the show’s first official clip, which you can catch up with below:
