In the original pilot, Vox didn’t have a speaking role, so fans never got to hear his voice. Actor Borle was given the role when A24 and Amazon Prime Video took up Hazbin Hotel to develop into a full-fledged series.
Borle is a voice and stage actor. He has voiced the character Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher, and William Shakespeare in Something Rotten. In The TV movie Legally Blonde: The Musical, he played the role of Emmett. Elle Woods’s main love interest as she ventures into the world of law. He also played Friar Pete in The Prodigal Son and David Horowitz in Elementary.
He also voiced Rusty Topsail in Vampirina. Borle also had a role as Caddy in the 2010 Jennifer Aniston and Gerald Butler romantic comedy The Bounty Hunter.
