Is Yellowstone on tonight?
No, Yellowstone isn’t on tonight.
So far – in the wake of Season 5 Part 1 abrupting ending – CBS has re-aired Seasons 1-3 of Yellowstone, with the third outing concluding at the end of January.
As of writing, the channel has not given an official statement on showing Season 4, with no start date confirmed as of yet either. In the show’s real-life timeline, Season 5 is not expected to make its debut until November 2024.
However, for some fans, the repeated Season 3 finale hasn’t left the storyline on the best note.
“Man, that ending was trash. How they went from talking about an “oil deal in Yemen” to all hell breaking loose an instant later with no build-up was horrible in my opinion. I know it’s a TV show, but come on,” one Redditor posted on a thread.
“I actually think Season 3 is super slow and kind of disappointing,” a second weighed in, with a third adding “I agree it’s very slow too much time being wasted on Tate and Monica we get John is gonna raise his grandson. Jimmy’s storyline is just fluff it’s ok but I rather focus on Chief Thomas and Mo but to have almost five episodes of Rip and Beth entanglement is getting stale. I want more action.”
Similar feelings were shared for most recent episodes of Yellowstone, with another fan commenting “This season is horrible. They should just sell the ranch and end the show. Nothing of substance has happened in Six episodes. We are being set up for yet another spin-off dealing with the reservation drama that I can guarantee.
“Seriously name one thing that has made this season so wow I need to keep watching this. Episode six had zero interesting plot lines that we already didn’t know about.”
Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 is set to air in November 2024.
