At least six high-profile movies are set to drop their first trailers during Super Bowl Sunday 2024.
So far, the list is as follows:
- Twisters
- Knuckles
- Deadpool 3
- Inside Out 2
- A Quiet Place: Day One
- Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
According to a report from Variety, Paramount is leading the charge for adverts during this year’s Super Bowl, claiming titles including A Quiet Place: Day One, Bob Marley: One Love, IF, and Knuckles. Surprisingly, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video aren’t set to unveil anything.
Around 100 million viewers are expected to tune into Super Bowl Sunday, making it one of the highest-ticket TV advertising opportunities this month. Release dates for the expected titles also vary, with Deadpool 3 pushed back to its new schedule of July 26, and Knuckles only having a confirmed release window of “early 2024.”
Whether films including The Fall Guy, Kung Fu Panda 4, and Wicked will get a moment in the spotlight during the hottest sporting day of the year is unknown. Reports initially suggested that the Ariana Grande musical movie Wicked was also set to feature, though Deadline has since reported that they don’t expect this to be the case.
“Some bangers in there,” one user posted on X/Twitter in response to the announcement, with a second adding, “Great list! Can’t wait to see these trailers during the game.”
