Moving star Kim Do-hoon scheduled for new rom-com K-drama
Disney+ / InstagramThe seventh installment of KBS’s 2023 short drama series, Confession Attack, will star Moving actor Kim Do-hoon and actor Chae Won-bin.
Disney+ has received high praise for its highly acclaimed K-drama Moving. It has become the most expensive in K-drama history but has yielded out-of-this-world results. Based on a webcomic, Moving tells the story of three teenagers who hide their superhuman abilities. Unknown to them, they inherited them from their parents. It just so happens that their parents are former spies who are now being hunted.
Actor Kim plays one of the leading roles as Lee Gang-hoon, a teen with super-speed and strength. Moving has been his most prominent K-drama to date, having appeared in The Law Cafe, Today’s Webtoon, Dark Hole, and Doctor John. Chae Won-bin stars in My Lovely Boxer, Secret Royal Inspector & Joy, and Voice 4.
The Moving star has been confirmed to lead a new short rom-com K-drama titled Confession Attack. Alongside actor Chae, the K-drama focuses on a campus love story.
Confession Attack: What is the K-drama about?
Moving star Kim Do-hoon will play the lead role of Cha Seok-jin, a second-best student who begins a series of mind games with his rival in Confession Attack.
According to Soompi, both actors have been confirmed to lead the K-drama. Cha Seok-jin (Kim) is diligent in everything he does from the moment he wakes up at 4 AM. Everything is timed perfectly like watching English news and his daily workout.
Despite his efforts to be nearly perfect, he is second-best at school. He gets caught in a turn of events when he accidentally makes a drunken confession. He embarks on a series of mind games to shake his rival’s mentality.
Seok-jin’s rival is Kang Kyung-joo (Chae). Her title as a top student also comes from determination. She works multiple part-time jobs and is only focused on achieving the future she desires. Her life gets a bit complicated when Seok-jin’s confession is targeted at her.
Confession Attack is scheduled to premiere in October. You can read more K-drama news in our hub here, news like Netflix’s first animated Korean movie here, and details about Strong Girl Namsoon here.
