Jordan Peele’s highly-anticipated new movie was originally set to release in 2024, but after being pulled from the schedule, the upcoming film is now listed with a new date.

Off the back of Get Out, Us, and Nope, horror fans are always waiting for more news on Jordan Peele’s upcoming projects. The comedy star turned director has made a name for himself on the big screen, winning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay with Get Out, his directorial debut.

His movies have become known for their genuine scares and off-beat comedy. Until now, he’s tackled body-snatching, doppelgangers, and aliens. It’s no wonder fans have been keeping their eyes firmly peeled for his next feature!

However, things have been a little bumpy when it comes to the fate of Peele’s fourth movie. That said, official sources have now been updated as to when we can expect to see his latest creation in theaters.

Jordan Peele’s new movie to release in 2025

On the Monkeypaw Productions website, the Untitled Jordan Peele Project is now listed as having a 2025 release date.

Originally, the upcoming movie had a December 2024 release date before being scrapped from this year’s slate altogether. Things were up in the air for a while, but the site’s listing seems to indicate that progress is back on track.

While the exact release date remains vague for now, we would hope that an early 2025 release could be on the cards. This would mean it was bumped to only a few months after its original slot.

The finer details of Jordan Peele’s new movie are still under wraps, but the director has been vocal about his hopes for the upcoming project.

“I do feel like my next project is clear to me,” Peele said on the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast. “And I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right.”
