One of Marvel’s best TV shows may never return

She-Hulk’s first go on Disney+ seemed successful enough to land a second season, but according to its star, maybe not.

One of Marvel‘s many Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, has been one of the MCU’s most discoursed shows, but it’s certainly had enough people watching. We even reviewed each episode here at Dexerto back when it first aired in 2022.

But now, almost two years later, there has been little sign of a second season. So far, only What If…? and Loki have reached that Disney+ milestone, but many were assuming that She-Hulk could join those ranks, especially since there had been a hint at another stint during a writer’s room scene in the final episode.

However, a recent statement from the show’s star actor herself has cast those assumptions into doubt.

Will there be a She-Hulk Season 2?

Right now, it doesn’t seem like it. Actor Tatiana Maslany – aka She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters – has begun discouraging fans from expecting a second season of the series.

During a Codenames LIVE! – The New Class twitch stream, when asked if there was hope for a Season 2, Maslany jokingly admitted that “I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.'”

Now, this does not count as an official answer, and perhaps she’s hiding a potential second season to pleasantly surprise fans – think of how Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield hid their appearances prior to Spider-Man: No Way Home’s release – but we won’t be betting on a Season 2 any time soon.

Will She-Hulk appear in the MCU again?

As of writing, nothing has been confirmed, but considering how interconnected every MCU project is, it’s not crazy to assume we’ll at least get a cameo at some point in the future.

Considering how Daredevil returned in Attorney at Law, we could imagine that she’ll do the same in Daredevil: Born Again, especially since they had a romantic connection in the former show.

Plus, She-Hulk could appear as a lawyer to multiple other superheroes, like Matt Murdock did to Peter Parker in No Way Home. Furthermore, with another large-scale Avengers movie on the way, no doubt the whole gang will be brought back in some capacity.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is currently available to stream on Disney+.
