Saltburn star Jacob Elordi investigated for alleged assault
MGMJacob Elordi, star of Saltburn and Euphoria, has become the subject of a police investigation after allegedly assaulting a radio producer.
The actor was reportedly involved in an incident on Saturday, February 3, at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney.
In what seems to have been an attempt at a prank, Elordi was approached by Joshua Fox, a producer for KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Fox had been carrying a plastic tub labeled “Jacob Elordi’s bathwater” at the time, a reference to his infamous scene in Saltburn, and asked the star for a sample.

As per The Sydney Morning Herald, Fox said: “Really random, but I want to give you this. Jackie wants a birthday present… she’s a big fan of the movie.”
Elordi asked exactly what had just been requested of him, and Fox told him he could put his bathwater in it. The star thought it was a joke, but when Fox doubled down, Elordi asked if the producer could stop filming.
Fox claims Elordi asked him to delete the footage, but the situation escalated when he refused to remove it from his recently deleted folder. “I’m thinking if I delete this footage, there’s no evidence that this encounter happened,” he said on Monday’s show.
Fox alleges Elordi then “flipped and pushed me against the wall” and put his hands around his throat. The outlet reports that Fox made a report at Waverley police station soon after the alleged confrontation, but he’s yet to make a formal statement.
New South Wales Police said: “Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
“Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024 a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident are continuing.”
Elordi has yet to comment on the allegations.
