Several iconic casts reunited for the SAG Awards and fans couldn’t be happier
NetflixA few iconic casts from both movie and TV came together to present different awards during the 2024 SAG Awards.
It was quite the wild Saturday Night in Hollywood as the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards brought out the biggest stars on both the big and small screens.
While fans got to watch some of their favorites win awards for the last time or give unhinged speeches, one of the best highlights was seeing several casts of iconic works come together for the first time in years.
From quotable films to comfort television, fans could get enough of seeing the casts of their favorite works join forces for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.
Reactions run wild as SAG Awards reunites old casts
Several film and television casts came together last night in order to present awards to their fellow actors for both TV and movie roles.
The most notable amongst the reunions were Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Meryl Streep from The Devil Wears Prada, Sean Astin, and Elijah Wood from Lord of the Rings, Geena Davis, and Jeff Goldblum from The Fly, most of the cast of Modern Family, and the majority of the cast of Breaking Bad.
Understandably, fans of these works went wild last night as some of these actors haven’t been seen together since their respective projects stopped filming.
“Can somebody pinch me is this not AI,” one user wrote as the cast of Modern Family took the stage, which is ironic as the cast recently celebrated their four-year anniversary of the show ending.
“THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA REUNION IN 2024 I’M SCREAMING!!!!!” another wrote as Hathaway and Blunt joined Streep on stage for a bit before Streep presented the award for best male actor in a comedy series.
Below are some of the other best reactions to these incredible reunions:
While none of the actors in these respective projects received SAG Awards, a lot of fans noted that it was a bit iconic for the groups to pass the torches and help honor some of the newer media on the scene today.
