Dave Kroupa found himself in a web of murder when his ex girlfriend murdered his current love interest and covered her tracks using the victim’s phone.

Love Stalker Killer for Netflix unravels the story concerning Dave Kroupa and a murder caused by Liz Goylar. The documentary uses first-hand accounts from Kroupa himself and the law enforcement involved in the case.

According to Netflix, set in 2012, a newly single Kroupa is ready to get into the dating scene after having ended his relationship with his longtime girlfriend. The father of two moves to Nebraska and opens an online dating profile where he meets Liz Golyar. She too is a single mother and the two quickly bond.

In the official trailer for Love Stalker Killer, he recounts, “I made it clear I was absolutely not going to be tied down.” Golyar accepted his decision and also saw it as two people having fun. With Kroupa having set boundaries for a non-serious relationship, he soon met someone else.

Caro Farver and Kroupa had an instant connection and began dating. Love Stalker Killer will detail the night everything changed when Golyar crossed paths with Farver outside Kroupa’s apartment. The documentary will recount how in the blink of an eye Farver disappeared one night.

In a turn of events, Farver began to send hate messages to Kroupa and Golyar. But authorities and Farver’s mothers would soon realize the horrid reality. Farver was murdered by Golyar and was covering her tracks with Farver’s phone. Kroupa’s desire to have a fun and honest dating life led to a heinous murder in a jealous love triangle.
