CBSThe final goodbye to Young Sheldon is only a few weeks away, with fans already “crying” over the first poster released for Season 7.
Though it won’t be the definite end of the Sheridan-verse, hit prequel sitcom Young Sheldon is finally drawing to an end after seven seasons.
It’s not all bad news for viewers, as yet another spin-off has already been confirmed by bosses, with the epic numbers of viewers watching the Cooper family meaning that the cast is unlikely to completely go away.
However, the first poster for Young Sheldon Season 7 has been released ahead of the show’s premiere, with fans already “crying” over what’s to come.

The first poster for Young Sheldon Season 7 has officially been released, with fans already “crying” over the prequel’s impending end.
The poster itself features the entire Cooper family on an old TV, with a VHS cassette labeled “The Final Season” set up to play.
“I’M GONNA CRY THIS SHOW IS INCREDIBLE I DON’T WANT IT TO END,” one fan posted on X/Twitter in response to its release. “I don’t like how a lot of these shows are coming to an end rt now,” added another.
“Don’t want it to end. Such a great show. All of the characters are amazing!” a third fan echoed.
Details for Season 7’s storylines have mostly been kept under lock and key, with only Episode 1 teased so far in new images.
Plot points that fans can expect to come up – such as George Cooper Snr’s death – still have an element of mystery to them, with fans debating whether or not the scenes will be shown at all.
“Haven’t watched it in years yet still not emotionally ready for the dad to die,” one fan added about upcoming scenes.
Meanwhile, others feel completely out of touch. “How many seasons did this show have??” another user responded. “I feel like it’s gone on longer than Big Bang Theory… Let me know if I’m wrong which I am probably very wrong.”
“Y’all hate it too much it’s a fun and genuinely good show and it’s even better than the Big Bang Theory sometimes,” a third weighed in, with a fourth summing up, “There is so much to wrap up, and a lot of it is supposed to be sad.”
Young Sheldon Season 7 begins airing on February 15, 2024.
