Young Sheldon Season 7 looks to be a turning point for Georgie and Mandy’s relationship – but are the pair endgame?

Science isn’t the only scandal in the Cooper family, with relationship drama routinely rocking Young Sheldon. Heading into Season 7, George has been at the center of a cheating scandal, while Meemaw has settled down with Dale after a rotation of boyfriends.

At the same time, Georgie has ended up fairly settled with Mandy and newborn Cece after lying to her about his age, resulting in a questionable age gap between the two.

Now that Young Sheldon is heading into its final season, are Georgie and Mandy destined to be endgame? Here’s what we know.

Young Sheldon: Are Georgie and Mandy endgame?

Georgie and Mandy aren’t endgame for the rest of their lives – but this doesn’t mean they won’t stay together for the duration of Young Sheldon.

Thanks to The Big Bang Theory, we know that Georgie and Mandy don’t stay together forever. When we meet Georgie as an adult, he’s single, in a fairly dead-end job, with little to no mentions of current partners.

As Young Sheldon Season 7 begins, the pair seem to have settled into their family life rather well. After everyone’s initial shock at Mandy’s pregnancy and Georgie’s lies, they both seem committed to trying to make a family work. They’re currently living in the garage at the Cooper family house after Mandy was ousted by her family – although thanks to casting reports, we know that this is about to change.

We also know that their story is set to continue for a while thanks to a confirmed spinoff looking at the trio’s family life. However, fans have differing opinions on the substance of Georgie and Mandy’s relationship.

“Listen, I know in the TBBT (which I’ve honestly never watched) they say that Georgie’s had multiple failed marriages,” one Redditor posted. “But plenty of things said in TBBT don’t really seem to line up with the YS storyline. Georgie and Mandy are getting their own spinoff, so the creators of the show must realize they’re fan favorites. Do you guys think there’s any chance the creators change their mind and choose not to go the ‘several failed marriages’ route for the sake of making their storyline more romantic?”

A second fan weighed in: “It’s currently 1993 on the show. Georgie didn’t show up on TBBT until 2018ish. The spinoff isn’t going to last 25 years. In other words, they can stay together until the end of the spinoff and leave plenty of time for failed marriages, etc.”

A third stated: “I honestly think they’re going to tease it for a while and then either leave it ambiguous or they could have their cake and eat it too with Mandy and Georgie getting back together in the present day. I think they’re aware that the couple are fan favorites and that if everyone knows the ending going in they might not be as onboard as the idea that Georgie and Mandy have some kind of shot.”
