Lil Tay slams ‘narcissist’ Wilbur Soot’s response to abuse allegations

Lil Tay is pulling no punches regarding her stance on the abuse allegations against Minecraft streamer Wilbur Soot, calling his response to the claims “narcissism at its finest.”

Wilbur Soot is a prominent streamer and content creator best known for his Minecraft broadcasts, boasting over 6 million YouTube subscribers and 4.8 million Twitch followers.

However, Soot’s popularity has dropped sharply following accusations of abuse from his ex-girlfriend, a YouTuber named ‘Shubble,’ which surfaced online in February 2024.

Shubble claimed that her ex-partner, who she did not name, would bruise her and bite her, saying he would even “poke” at her bruises for fun — despite her pleading for him to stop.

Viewers connected Shubble’s claims to Wilbur Soot, whom she had dated in the past. Soot responded to the accusations in a lengthy Twitter/X post a few days later, saying he “regrettably became slobbish, disrespectful, and selfish” at the end of their relationship.

Soot also said that Shubble’s accusations of “abuse” in regards to the biting “deeply shocked” him, claiming he “understood from our numerous conversations and text message exchanges on the subject, that this behavior was consensual, playful and reciprocally enjoyed.”

Public opinion is generally not in favor of Soot, with many commenters blasting the influencer over his response… and social media star Lil Tay is one of them.
