The Streamer Awards 2024 outperformed the 2023 ceremony, with its peak viewers topping an astounding 640,000.

This year’s Streamer Awards were held this past weekend at The Wiltern theater in Los Angeles. Streamers and content creators from around the world gathered in the southern California venue to see who would take home trophies awarded across 28 different categories.

Of course, those in attendance weren’t the only ones keeping a close eye on the event’s biggest winners. People by the hundreds of thousands tuned in from home as well, watching the ceremony from all different corners of the globe.

According to new data, a record-breaking number of viewers tuned in, eclipsing the peak viewership registered during the 2023 ceremony.

2024 Streamer Awards record impressive number of peak viewers

QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards in 2023 outperformed the 2022 iteration by raking in 2.3 million hours watched and 580K Peak Viewers – including co-casting. The 2024 ceremony went even above and beyond these numbers, courtesy of a massive viewership spike.

Reporting from Streams Charts shows the event logged 3.2 million hours watched, 645.1K peak viewers, and 339,000 average viewers. Suffice it to say, a lot of people tuned in to see Kai Cenat win the Streamer of the Year trophy for a second consecutive year.

The approximately 11 percent increase in peak viewers for the Streamer Awards 2024 is nothing to scoff at. If nothing else, it demonstrates the audience’s growing interest in these types of celebrations. It’s possible, then, that the QTCinderella-founded event will enjoy another viewership increase next year.

Kai Cenat wasn’t the only content creator to win big this year. Notably, Jynxzi earned the Gamer of the Year prize. Meanwhile, Valkyrae won The Sapphire Award and Liam was rewarded the Streamer’s Choice trophy.
