Pokimane famously left Twitch in January 2024 after ten years of streaming on the platform.

Now, she’s streaming wherever she feels like, without an exclusive contract in place, choosing to focus on ventures like her new podcast, ‘Don’t Tell Anyone.’

Now that her contract with Twitch has expired, the streaming star has decided it’s a good time to air out her grievances with the website… including a “crazy” story about one of its employees.

In a January 31 episode of her ‘Don’t Tell Anyone’ podcast, Anys revealed why she was leaving Twitch, calling the platform “messy” and citing its numerous moderation issues, on top of rising ‘red pill culture,’ as reasons for making her exit.

She also teased a story about a negative experience she had with a Twitch employee — and it’s making some viewers wonder if this isn’t a nail in the coffin for the purple streaming platform.

“There was something absolutely batshit crazy that happened with a Twitch employee that I haven’t fully publicized yet,” she admitted. “But now that my contract is over, I am considering doing that in another, soon, podcast episode.”

While Poki hasn’t said exactly what the story was about, more than a fair few commenters are speculating this may be another nail in Twitch’s coffin after the platform experienced major issues with rampant nudity and laid off hundreds of employees.

“Pokimane is about to end Twitch,” one viewer wrote on Twitter/X.

“Twitch HQ right now,” another said, attaching a gif of Jordan Peele sweating.

“Twitch’s downfall? Ya love to see it,” said another.

Thus far, it’s unclear if Pokimane actually plans to expose the employee or not — but her podcast drops a new episode every Tuesday, so there’s only a few hours left to see if she’ll go through with her proposition.
