Streaming star IShowSpeed was left baffled after a YouTube stream was deleted for violating the site’s “firearms policy.”

IShowSpeed has quickly become one of the world’s most popular creators and is notoriously known for his wild antics on stream.

From setting off fireworks in his home on numerous occasions to trolling some of football’s biggest stars such as Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, there’s no telling what you may find tuning into his streams.

However, the 19-year-old’s actions have landed him in a bit of trouble with YouTube, with his recent live stream being deleted for violating the site’s firearms policy.

IShowSpeed violates YouTube’s firearms policy

On February 11, Speed shared on his alt Twitter/X account that he’d received an email from YouTube, notifying him that he broke the platform’s firearms policy in a recent live stream — during which he went to a shooting range.

“Hi IShowSpeed, we wanted to let you know our team reviewed your content, and we think it violates our firearms policy,” the email read. “We know you may not have realized this was a violation of our policies, so we’re not applying a strike to your channel.”

However, Speed was still unimpressed, and a bit baffled as to how he broke the policy, making note of the numerous firearms videos across the site. “There’s literally videos of people shooting on YouTube,” he said. “Contacting my rep real quick.”

While Speed was fortunate enough not to receive a strike for the incident, with YouTube acknowledging that he may not have realized he violated their guidelines, the stream was still deleted nevertheless.

But, despite being in hot water with the platform for the situation, Speed has uploaded a full video of him in the firing range to his YouTube channel.
