KSI mocks Tommy Fury surgery as he prepares for boxing return

YouTuber KSI has appeared to fire shots at Tommy Fury, mocking the Love Island star for his recent surgery as they both prepare for their boxing return.

After Tommy Fury lived up to his family name and handed Jake Paul his first loss in early 2023, KSI wanted to prove once and for all he’s the best, and take down the professional boxer.

Following months of negotiations, the two finally went blow-for-blow in October 2023, on the highly-anticipated Prime Card as former rival Logan Paul touched gloves with Dillon Danis.

Ultimately, it was Fury who walked out on top of the influencers again, where after six rounds the decision came down to the judges, who gave the win to Fury by majority decision — which was corrected to a split decision later.

KSI quickly appealed the “outrageous” decision but was met with no luck as the PBA, the governing body that sanctioned the fight, rejected the appeal. Since then, the YouTuber has poked fun at Fury, and now in an Instagram story appears to mock the reality TV star’s recent surgery.

KSI appears to mock Tommy Fury’s latest surgery

On January 30, KSI shared on Instagram that he had recently undergone surgery to fix a “toothache” problem he’s battled with for years. “Since 2015 I have been dealing with a toothache that I’ve never spoken about/shared online,” he wrote.

He continued: “Since my first professional fight I have been trying to manage this injury, training and fighting through extreme pain which led me to often not being able to box at all. For the last four weeks of my last camp I was only able to do jumping jacks until fight night.”

KSI added: “This morning I underwent the surgery I’ve been putting off for years as I know this is the only way my hand will heal and that I can move forward with my boxing career. I’m excited for my recovery journey and so ready to be back feeling and giving 100% in 2024.”

Nevertheless, fans quickly realized that the YouTube star was trolling and actually mocking Tommy Fury, who revealed earlier in January he underwent surgery on his hand. KSI’s caption is almost word-for-word when compared to Fury’s post.

However, its worth noting that KSI is wearing what appears to be a medical mask in the story, meaning he could’ve actually had surgery.
